Product direction
01 / THE PROBLEM
Start with the need.
A product direction for daily planning. The challenge: help someone see what needs attention without overwhelming them with choices.
02 / SCOPE & CONSTRAINTS
Define the boundaries.
The experience focuses on an overview, task list and focus session — the three touchpoints that shape a daily routine.
A small screen, one-handed use and quick scanning. Every component is structured to grow into a complete product.
03 / IMPLEMENTATION DECISIONS
A reason for every choice.
One task takes priority
The focus session leads, followed by the daily list. This hierarchy limits competing demands for attention.
A consistent information rhythm
Task names, status and times follow predictable alignment. The accent colour is reserved for the primary activity.
Small, reusable building blocks
The screen frame, task row and visual states can be extended once actual requirements are confirmed.
04 / RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTPUT
My contribution
Product flow, interface layout and HTML/CSS frontend.
Inputs needed from others
The interface is intentionally independent from backend services, ready for real data and product states.
Current output
A calm, focused product direction ready for the next round of user testing and refinement.
